Stevens Creek Trail Cycling

The Stevens Creek Trail is completed through the city of Mountain View and extends from Shoreline Park and the Bay Trail to an entrance near Mountain View High School or by Sleeper Avenue. The trail can now be accessed without crossing over El Camino. The goal is to have the trail extend from Cupertino to the Bay. Sections of the trail are completed in Cupertino.

The trail runs through tidal marshlands and natural riparian habitats, providing for recreation and educational opportunities.  The trail is regularly used for bicycling, bird watching, commuting, dog walking, education, hiking, jogging, nature walks, running, scootering, roller and inline skating, skateboarding, striding, and walking.

The trip can be extended by cycling through the Palo Alto Baylands Nature Reserved or along the frontage road off of 101 to the Dumberton Bridge.
